Whether you can donate a few hundred or a few thousand dollars, every
little bit counts towards our goal of bringing our students access to
new books, current technology and extracurricular activities that
expose them to the world of opportunities. We rely on the generous
support of individuals and corporations to provide funds to close the gap between state funding and basic school needs.
Donations from individuals and corporations, as well as grants from
private foundations, qualify for maximum tax benefits allowable by the
Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

California uses a complex re distributive system coupled with local tax
revenues to fund schools based on "per student" funds. As a charter
school, PSA depends on public funds, but the Public Safety Academy is funded at a substantially lower rate than a traditional school are. Hard work and dedication can help bridge the gap, but we need donor support to provide extracurricular activities, field trips and athletics

PSA accepts in-kind donations in the form of books, supplies, and
other materials to support our academic programs and activities.
